White Flint: From Drag to Desirable

Saturday, April 27
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

White Flint is fundamentally transforming from an aging auto-oriented commercial corridor to an accessible and vibrant walkable community.

CSG is bringing together Federal Realty’s Tommy Mann, Friends of White Flint’s Lindsay Hoffman, and Nkosi Yearwood, the Montgomery County lead planner for White Flint, to update us on progress, explore what’s changing and what it means for the neighborhood, and what we can expect in this area as it becomes one of the Washington region's newest walkable communities. Join us on April 27.

  • Tommy Mann, Development Associate, Federal Realty
  • Lindsay Hoffman, Executive Director, Friends of White Flint
  • Nkosi Yearwood, Neighborhood Planner, Montgomery County Planning Department.

Upon registration, you'll receive a reminder email 24-48 hours before the event with further details, the starting location for the event, and a map and transit directions. We strive to make all of our events transit-accessible.

Please remember to wear good walking shoes, sunscreen, and bring a bottle of water!

This event is part of CSG's 2013 Walking Tours & Forums Series, possible by the generous support of the National Association of Realtors. In cooperation with APA Virginia, AICP credit for this event is pending.
