Dear Supporter,

Now that Virginia has reached a transportation funding deal, VDOT has the resources it needs to build one of its favorite-but-unnecessary pet highway projects: an Outer Beltway through Loudoun and Prince William Counties.

But what would the new highway mean for Fairfax County residents and those in other adjacent counties? Join us, in partnership with the Sierra Club Virginia Chapter, and Prince William Conservation Alliance, to find out.

Community Meeting

Monday, March 11
7:00 - 9:00 PM
Chantilly Regional Library
4000 Stringfellow Rd - Chantilly (map) - served by Fairfax Connector bus rt. 605
Come early to view maps & displays

RSVP requested >>

At the meeting, we'll discuss how the Outer Beltway would affect traffic in the region, the impacts on our property and communities, how much new land the project would open to new development, and how many new commuters we can expect on I-66, Route 50, and other major routes.

Can't make the March 11 meeting? Our friends at the Piedmont Environmental Council are holding an additional meeting on March 18 in Ashburn.

See you there!
