Want to pass a local ordinance?

Mt. Pleasant has just become the 19th city in Michigan to pass an ordinance that protects gay and transgender residents. 
 
"It wasn’t an easy fight. We worked hard for almost two years to get to where we are today. I want to let you know that, if your city does not yet have an ordinance, do not give up! And if your city does have an ordinance, go visit your neighbors in a nearby city and help them with their own work. We couldn’t have done it without the help of and resources from the Unity Michigan coalition."
