The American Community Gardening Association (ACGA) promotes community gardening and greening across the United States and Canada.

ACGA's annual conference provides an opportunity for professionals, volunteers, and supporters of community greening in urban and rural communities to gather together, to share information and resources pertaining to:

  • Community food and ornamental gardening
  • Orchards and permaculture
  • Preservation and management of open spaces
  • Integrated planning, management, and development of urban and rural lands

Accessibility: Most sessions will be held in Gould Hall, which is wheelchair-accessible. Keynotes will be held in Architecture Hall, which also is accessible, but is about a 5 minute walk uphill from Gould Hall. The Therapeutic Gardens tour will be accessible, however other tours may not be and tour bus staging will be about a 15 minute walk from Gould Hall with some hills.
