The Housing Development Consortium is the professional association and advocate for the King County affordable housing community and its many supporters.
HOUSINGnews is the monthly newsletter published by the Housing Development Consortium. In it you will find articles on the activities of HDC and its members related to affordable housing events, issues, trends, advocacy and policies. You do not have to be associated with a member organization to subscribe to HOUSINGnews.
HDC’s unique Affinity Groups enable members to work collaboratively on current issues, to develop policies, ideas and solutions that provide the entire sector with the tools it needs to maximize the development of affordable housing. These dynamic groups are open only to HDC member organizations and concentrate on specific issues.
Please note: you must be associated with a member organization in order to sign up for any of the AG lists (HDC Affinity Groups).
HDC provides multiple ways for its members to connect with their peers and work collaboratively on issues affecting the development, preservation, management and financing of affordable housing. HDC's member services are focused on a range of opportunities; creating efficiencies in design and production, sharing and refining best practices in sound property management, influencing public policy on the allocation of affordable housing resources and fostering cooperative efforts among and between affordable homeownership providers. HDC's member services are available to the entire staff of member organizations and businesses from Executive Directors to Property Managers and from Principals to Interns.
