So You Want to Start a Community Garden...

Have you been staring at an empty lot in your neighborhood and fantasizing about making it a beautiful growing space? Inspired to use food gardening for social change? Or just plain dying to have a place to grow things within walking distance of your home? This session will be a casual conversation between those interested in starting gardens and the leaders of the Peterson Garden Project. We’ll share what we know and talk as a group about strategies around garden futures. Allow extra time before class to visit our friends at First Slice to grab some coffee to go, they're located on the opposite side of the train tracks.

Class Fee:  FREE
