Since 1981, over 500 students have participated in the Anthony Shadid Internship program. Interns learn about civil rights and Arab heritage while gaining leadership experience and developing practical skills related to community organizing, media relations, research and writing, legal issues, political action, and educational outreach. This year, ADC Summer Interns will have the unique opportunity to be involved in planning and organizing the 2nd Annual National Arab-American Cultural Festival, which will take place on Saturday, July 9, 2015.
