Take action to protect families: Tell President Obama to halt deportations

Our president has the power to help these families. Issuing a presidential memorandum that stops deporting people would allow loved ones to stay together without fear of separation.

President Obama has stated that such an act “isn’t an option,” but his prior acts suggest otherwise: In 2012, he put into effect the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which allowed young immigrants to remain in the U.S. despite having undocumented status. But it’s not just youth who need relief.

Please join AFSC in demanding that President Obama support families and communities by ending deportations now!
