AFSC's 4th Annual Peace is Power Parade

Parade begins at A.L. Davis Park (formerly known as Shakespeare Park), Washington & LaSalle, New Orleans, LA

American Friends Service Committee and Peace by Piece are hosting its 4th Annual Peace is Power Parade commemorating International Day of Peace in September. The annual event is our pledge to keep New Orleans safe for our youth. We’re inviting the New Orleans community to join us in pledging its commitment to peace and nonviolence. The event will begin with a parade from A.L. Davis Park through Central City and end with a Youth Showcase at Duncan Plaza, 343 Loyola Avenue, across from City Hall.  The event is free, but registration is required to participate. All registered participants will receive a t-shirt marking the event.  Register online by completing the form below.
