Talented local women artists are welcome to display their artwork in our new space at the Tinkham Veale University Center.  Flora's First Fridays are an opportunity for the CWRU community to come and view their work, potentially meet some of the artists, and socialize.

WISER raises funds for its adopted and underprivileged public school in Bangalore, India through a non-profit organization called Soujanya Sevashrama (SEVA). All funds that we raise will go to our girls at our school in India and provide them with math and science resources! SEVA is an international outreach program called 'Nurture a School Annually' (NASA).

WISER: Girls in STEMM Kick-Off Event (in partnership with General Electric and the Cleveland Play House)

Join us as we bring 170 middle schools girls to campus to introduce them to STEMM activities with the support of WISER members, faculty and staff! Student will participate in activities in electronics, civil engineering, chemistry, computer science and life sciences. 

This is a partnership with GE Lighting, Case Western Reserve University (Corporate Relations and the Women in Science and Engineering Roundtable), The Cleveland Play House and First Ring Superintendents’ Collaborative (FRSC).
