WISER SEVA Fundraiser

Wednesday, November 5, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Volunteer to sell baked goods or buy a baked good or two.

WISER raises funds for its adopted and underprivileged public school in Bangalore, India through a non-profit organizaiton called Soujanya Sevashrama (SEVA).  All funds raised will go to our girls at our school in India and provide them with math and science resources.

VoicePro for Faculty: "Speaking Up, Speaking Out: Develop Personal Power Through Effective Communication"

All women faculty are encouraged to attend "Speaking Up, Speakng Out: Develop Personal Power Through Effective Communication," an experiential workship conducted by the communication trainers fo VoicePro and presented by the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women.

In this session, attendees will learn how to convey confidence despite not feeling confidence, balance logic and emotion to influence others, and communicate needs, wants, expectations and feelings.

MOMS Play & Happy Hour

Please join the Center for Women and the MOMS (Moms Offering Moms Support) Group for our first ever MOMS Play & Happy Hour.  Bring your children and come hang out! These meetings are open to all pregnant women and mothers who are faculty, staff, students, retired former CWRU employees and CWRU alumnae.  

This group is made possible through the generous support of Dr. Mim Rosenthal and Dr. Nancy K. Johnson.
