Our Power Together: May Day at the Duke Energy Shareholder Meeting

We are working with allies across the state to create a presence inside and outside of this year's annual shareholder meeting for Duke Energy. Organizations involved thus far include: Action NC, Appalachian Voices, Charlotte Environmental Action, Democracy NC, Greenpeace, and the Sierra Club.

Meet at Duke Energy coporate headquarters in Charlotte in May 1, 2014 with a broad alliance of visionary organizations from across the state. Celebrate your May Day with unity. We call for environmental, social, racial, labor and economic justice; political transparcency; clean energy; and a bright future for all! Join the Facebook group.

We are providing transportation to get to Charlotte, from the Triad and Triangle! Please scroll down to register and pay for a seat. The vehicle will pick people up in Durham and then stop on the way to pick up more in Greensboro. The details on location and time can be found once you submit your registration.

If you cannot attend but would like to offset the cost for someone who can, please make a donation here.

If you own any shares of Duke Energy and would like to contribute your proxy so that one of our staff, members or allies can speak at the meeting, please email:
