New York: Senate Fails to Vote on Medical Marijuana Measure

The New York Senate has failed to vote on legislation that would allow for the medical use of cannabis by qualified patients, Assembly Bill 6357, before the end of this year's legislative session. The measure had been previously approved by the Assembly in a 95-38 vote on Monday, June 3.
