Washington: Lawmakers Fail to Vote on Legislation to Expunge Marijuana Arrest Convictions

The Washington State House of Representatives has failed to vote on House Bill 1661, which would have expunged the criminal records of those previously convicted of marijuana offenses, before this years legislative deadline. The Committee on Public Safety debated the measure on Wednesday, February 20 and voted 6 to 5 to pass the measure.
