Join us in beautiful Downtown Norwalk, Ohio on September 11th as we hear from speakers around the state regarding the importance of urban design in regard to downtown revitalization. Urban Design affects every one of us and shapes how we live our lives and how we interact in public space. The decisions we make in regard to our streets, sidewalks, lighting, parks, public furniture and building codes, impact most every facet of our lives. Our sense of community, social health, physical health, shopping habits and free time, are all affected by the decisions we make in terms of shaping the public realm. Learn from three experts in the field of urban design how cities can make design decisions to help shape the way its citizens live, shop, play and work.
