State of the Bay

September 27, 2017

Bay City, Michigan

This one day conference is your chance to learn about activities related to the restoration, conservation and protection of Saginaw Bay.  In addition, you’ll learn about what communities around the Bay and throughout the watershed are doing to encourage public access, economic development, environmental education and watershed management.   This is your opportunity to find out what is happening and network with people and groups doing this work through the 22-county Saginaw Bay watershed.  The conference is sponsored by the Saginaw Bay Watershed Initiative Network and its partners, and is generously supported by The Cook Family Foundation.

The conference will be held at the Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center - Riverfront in Bay City, Michigan located along the Saginaw River with some breakout sessions to be held at the Delta College Planetarium (across the street).  To download the Agenda, click here

The event will conclude with an optional reception and cruise on the BaySail Appledore Schooners, sponsored by The Conservation Fund along with North Peak Brewing Company and Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales.  The reception and cruise is a separate registration from the conference - see below. Space is limited, so register early!
