A Regional Convening on Mission, Connection and Professional Development
To convene agency staff, Board and volunteers across the country for professional development opportunities, which will connect them to the mission of Catholic Charities USA and to each other.

Keynote Speaker: Reverend Larry Snyder, President, Catholic Charities USA

Workshop topics include Catholic Identity, Advocacy 101, Financial Education, Strategic Leadership, and Diversity.  Plenary sessions will focus on our work to reduce poverty in America, our Catholic identity and a Four Corners Dialogue session.

Sojourn Theatre and Catholic Charities USA
Building on the collaboration Catholic Charities USA and Sojourn Theatre began during the 2012 Annual Gathering in St. Louis; Sojourn Theatre (in partnership with the Center for Performance and Civic Practice) will continue its engagement with the CCUSA network through a series of workshops and conversations during Partners in Excellence events taking place between now and the 2013 Annual Gathering in San Francisco. 

As “Artists-in-Residence”, Sojourn’s actors will not only perform pieces of the script from LEAN IN, the show they created for the 2012 Annual Gathering (view Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3), but they will also share creative tools for collaboration and use theatre-based dialogue to host a community wide conversation about poverty reduction.

Room Rates:$139 single/double; $149 triple; $159 quad plus applicable taxes.
